On Saturday, 12 October 2024, Minister Utumatwishima Jean Nepo Abdallah, along with UNICEF Rwanda Representative MS. Lindsey Julianna, with other partners joined youth in Gisagara District for a special #Umuganda. During the event, the GreenRising project was launched and 11,500 trees were planted.

Young people in Gisagara District had a blast at Umuganda concert held at Gisagara gymnasium. They were treated to electrifying performances by Ariel Wayz, Riderman, BullDogg, Titi Brown with his team and local artists.

Mininister Utumatwishima Jean Nepo Abdallah highlighted the crucial role of tree planting in preserving our planet. He expressed his appreciation to UNICEF Rwanda and Generation Unlimited for their significant support and encouraged young people to participate in reforestation efforts to makeRwanda greener.
