The Minister of Youth and Arts, Dr. Abdallah Utumatwishima, received members of the Population Development Initiative (PDI), a youth-led organization committed to advancing youth well-being and empowerment.

During the meeting, discussions focused on PDI’s initiatives in mental health, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), gender-based violence (GBV) prevention, youth and women’s empowerment, and support for young creatives.

The discussions also explored opportunities to strengthen collaboration between the Ministry of Youth and Arts and PDI to enhance support for young people, promote their well-being, and create more opportunities for their personal and professional development.
