Minister Jean Nepo Abdallah welcomed H.E. Mesfin Gebremariam, the Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to Rwanda, for discussions on youth empowerment, creative arts, and regional cultural collaboration.

A key highlight of their meeting was Rwanda’s participation in the East African Cultural & Arts Festival, set to take place in March 2025 in Addis Ababa. The festival presents a significant opportunity for Rwandan artists to showcase their talent, engage in cultural exchange, and strengthen artistic networks across the region.

Minister Jean Nepo Abdallah emphasized the importance of empowering young creatives and fostering cross-border cultural initiatives. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing Rwanda-Ethiopia relations through the arts, ensuring that young talents have a platform to thrive on the regional stage.
