Minister of State Sandrine Umutoni Inaugurates Inzozi Youth Centre to Strengthen Youth-Led Resilience in Huye
The Minister of State for Youth, Sandrine Umutoni, together with Governor Alice Kayitesi and Mayor Ange Sebutege, joined the Rwanda Red Cross during the National Society’s Annual Partnership Meeting held under the theme “Building Resilient Communities: Youth-Led Resilience and Socio-Economic Empowerment.”
The Minister inaugurated the Inzozi Youth Centre constructed by the Rwanda Red Cross. She emphasized that the centre will serve as a space to empower young people to become well-informed, resilient, and confident decision-makers in both their personal and social lives.
Following the inauguration, MoS Umutoni visited youth-oriented facilities in Huye, including the YEGO Center, the Cyarwa Community Facility equipped with volleyball, basketball, and mini-football courts and the Huye Employment Service Centre, which provides vocational training and connects young people with employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
