Minister of State for Youth and Arts, Sandrine Umutoni joined 30 young solution pioneers from across Africa for the 2024 YouthConnekt Africa Policy Hackathon on Skilling and Employability, took place in Kigali from 27-29 August.

The 3-day activity, organized by the YouthConnekt Africa and Mastercard Foundation, aimed to engage youth in finding solutions to challenges they face and invite them to identify concrete actions they would recommend to various actors.

The Policy Hackathon delved into the future of work in Africa, exploring youth-led solutions for Africa's Skilling and Employment Challenge, and the role of policy and ecosystems in scaling these solutions. #YearOfEducation
