Today, November,26.2025 Minister of State Sandrine Umutoni officially opened the induction programme of the inaugural Youth Advisory Council of YouthConnekt Africa, a new body established to ensure that the initiative remains youth-driven and youth-focused. 

In her remarks, she thanked the Youth Advisors for accepting the call to serve and expressed confidence that their energy, creativity, and commitment to advancing Africa’s young people will strengthen the governance and sustainability of the YouthConnekt Africa initiative.

 MoS Umutoni emphasized that good governance is the backbone of any lasting institution, urging the Advisors to uphold a culture of accountability, integrity, transparency, fairness, and inclusivity as they listen, collaborate, and lead.
