MoYA and KOICA Launch the Second Cohort of the Capacity Building for Film and Video Industry Programme

The Ministry of Youth and Arts (MoYA), in collaboration with KOICA Rwanda, has officially launched the second cohort of the Capacity Building for Film & Video Industry programme (2025–2027), reaffirming its commitment to strengthening Rwanda's creative industry through skills development and international collaboration.

The programme brings together 15 Rwandan filmmakers for an intensive two-week training focused on advanced K-content production technologies. The training is designed to enhance participants' technical skills and production capacity while supporting the continued growth and competitiveness of Rwanda's film and video industry.

Through this initiative, participants will gain practical knowledge and industry-relevant expertise aimed at improving the quality of local film and video production. The programme also provides an opportunity for knowledge exchange and capacity building to further develop Rwanda's creative sector.

The second cohort reflects the continued partnership between MoYA and KOICA Rwanda in promoting professional development within the film and video industry and empowering Rwandan filmmakers with advanced production skills.
