This afternoon November 13, 2025 the Ministry of Youth and the Arts (MoYA) welcomed Ms. Ahunna Eziakonwa, Assistant Secretary-General and Regional Director for UNDP Africa, together with the UNDP delegation and H.E. Belen Calvo, Ambassador of the European Union to Rwanda.

The meeting focused on reviewing the progress and impact of the Aguka programme, which aims to empower young people through skills development, innovation, and economic opportunity.

Both parties discussed achievements to date, key lessons learned, and priority areas for scaling the programme’s reach. The discussions also highlighted the importance of continued collaboration among MoYA, UNDP, and the EU to further strengthen youth-focused initiatives in Rwanda.
