Minister Abdallah Utumatwishima and Minister of State Sandrine Umutoni received Mr. Mohamed Aw-Dahir, the newly appointed FAO Rwanda Representative, for a courtesy meeting focused on advancing youth empowerment through agriculture. 

Their discussions explored innovative approaches to engage young people in agribusiness and promote modern agriculture as a viable and attractive sector for employment, entrepreneurship, and sustainable economic growth. The meeting reaffirmed the importance of partnerships in creating opportunities for youth and supporting Rwanda’s agricultural transformation agenda.
