Under a program between the Ministry of Youth and Arts which is called MoYA, UNESCO and the European Union the Rwanda Arts Council is getting help to change and improve. A group of people from Rwanda went to Zimbabwe for a learning session. This session was run by the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe.

The trip was a chance for people to learn from each other to talk about the ways to do things and to make sure that their organizations work better together in the creative economy. The group was welcomed by Ambassador James Musoni and Permanent Secretary Nic Moyo from the Ministry of Sports, Recreation, Arts and Culture, in Zimbabwe. This showed that Rwanda and Zimbabwe have a friendship when it comes to helping the arts, culture and the creative industries grow.

This kind of meeting shows that Rwanda is working hard to make sure that the arts have rules and support that creative people have more power and that the country uses partnerships with other countries to help the creative economy grow in a good way.
