Top 100 Young Entrepreneurs Receive $3,000 Seed Capital Through Aguka Ideation Programme
The Ministry of Youth and Arts, in collaboration with the Tony Elumelu Foundation, UNDP Rwanda, and the European Union in Rwanda, has awarded $3,000 USD in seed capital to the top 100 selected applicants from the 2025 Aguka Ideation Entrepreneurship Programme. The initiative aims to boost youth-led innovation and business development across the country.
The Minister Utumatwishima Jean Nepo Abdallah held an open discussion with the youth, reflecting on the programmer’s strengths and areas for improvement. He expressed deep gratitude to the partners and highlighted various ongoing efforts to empower young people in Rwanda.
The Minister also reminded the youth that support doesn’t stop with Aguka urging them to stay focused, keep learning, and avoid behaviors that hinder their potential. He emphasized that the Ministry remains open to their ideas and committed to creating more inclusive opportunities for Rwanda’s youth.
